Our Marriage Prayer

Overview

The Our Marriage Prayer Program is a Wisconsin State Council initiative focused on strengthening Catholic marriages through daily prayer. Rooted in the belief that the foundation of the family is the marriage bond between husband, wife, and God, this program invites couples and families to intentionally place prayer at the center of their daily lives.

When marriages are strong, families are better equipped to endure life’s challenges and grow together in faith. Through this program, the Knights of Columbus encourage families across Wisconsin to pray together daily and to intentionally include the Our Marriage Prayer as a regular part of family and couple prayer.

This simple, flexible program can be implemented by any council and easily integrated into parish life, retreats, and family‑focused activities.

How the Program Works

Councils promote the importance of daily family and marital prayer

Families are encouraged to:

• Set aside time each day for prayer
• Include the Our Marriage Prayer as part of their routine

Councils may:

• Encourage participation during parish announcements
• Incorporate the prayer into council or parish family events
